Hi, I’m Chris Marr — a Mortgage Loan Officer with Mortgage Navigators based in Evergreen, Colorado.

My path to mortgage lending is anything but typical — and that’s what makes me uniquely equipped to help everyone from W-2 employees to entrepreneurs and freelancers. For more than two decades, I’ve been a small business owner and sales leader, building and managing successful operations across multiple industries. I’ve overseen everything from inventory and payroll to licensing, vendor negotiations, and strategic growth. I also spent nearly a decade in retail finance, where I held leadership roles in banking, sales training, and investment strategy. That combination of entrepreneurial and financial experience allows me to bring a well-rounded, real-world approach to mortgage lending.

I especially enjoy working with clients who have complex or non-traditional financial situations — whether they’re self-employed, business owners, or real estate investors. I understand the nuances of cash flow, tax strategies, and P&L statements because I’ve worked with them firsthand. I know how important it is to structure a loan that truly fits your financial picture — not just what’s on paper. My goal is to make the mortgage process clear, flexible, and successful for clients who need a little more than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Outside of work, I’m an active volunteer with Evergreen Audubon and Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue, a scuba diving instructor, and a lifelong adventure traveler. You’ll often find me in the mountains — backcountry skiing, hiking remote trails, or behind the camera capturing Colorado’s wildlife and landscapes.
